Guide to Local Production: WHO-recommended Handrub Formulations

The WHO provides guidance for preparing a hand disinfectant solution. This guide is divided into two parts:
– Part A provides a practical guide for the preparation of the product, lists the different components of the product, and indicates the doses.
– Part B summarises some essential background for product preparation as well as technical information taken by the WHO from the “Guidelines on hand hygiene in healthcare (2009)”. In part B, the user has access to important information on safety and material costs.
